Blockchain & DeFi documentation

Plan a blockchain product or managed service by comparing the live catalogue, reviewing relevant implementation guides, and configuring a scoped request.

Workflow
  1. Define the use caseIdentify the network, participants, assets, and operating boundaries.
  2. Explore the catalogueCompare published products and categories for a plausible fit.
  3. Review guidanceUse planning material to identify dependencies and decisions.
  4. Configure scopeSelect supported options in the customer configurator.
  5. Review termsCheck displayed pricing and confirm details in the quote.

Describe the network and outcome

Before choosing a product, describe what the network must do, who participates, which assets or applications are involved, and who operates each component. Distinguish a managed chain, explorer, DeFi component, wallet, or other catalogue item rather than treating blockchain as one interchangeable service. Record security, integration, governance, and data requirements. These are inputs to product selection and technical review, not assumptions that a catalogue item supplies every part of a solution.

  1. List participants, transaction types, and intended environment.
  2. Identify custody, signing, governance, and operational owners.
  3. Separate required platform capabilities from external dependencies.

Compare products and planning guides

Browse the live categories, product pages, bundles, and pricing views to compare the currently published scope. Use the planning guides for network and validator decisions, governance and timelocks, explorer selection, DeFi readiness, listing stages, and delivery onboarding. A guide helps structure evaluation; it does not establish compatibility with a particular third party or promise an outcome. Confirm product details from the current page and note any requirement that needs institution-specific review.

  1. Compare published products within the relevant category.
  2. Read the planning guide that matches the main project risk.
  3. Record unresolved compatibility or operating questions.

Configure a customer request

Start from the public configurator or a product page and select only the configuration choices presented for that service. Review each step before continuing, especially environment, integrations, governance, and operational responsibilities. Some steps may require an account or a saved draft; a quote action can require authentication. Do not treat a configured draft as a live blockchain change: the customer-facing flow gathers requirements and presents a request for review rather than directly operating a production chain.

  1. Open the configurator from the relevant product or category.
  2. Enter only the requested configuration details and review the summary.
  3. Sign in if the quote action requires it and submit for review.

Validate scope before proceeding

Compare the resulting product and price information with the intended scope, and resolve exclusions before accepting commercial terms. Blockchain services can involve separate responsibilities for customer-controlled assets, signing keys, third-party systems, and operational policies. Confirm interfaces and environment details through the documentation or agreed technical review; do not infer hidden endpoints, credentials, guarantees, or integration coverage from a product name. Keep the approved configuration and written scope as the reference for delivery discussions.

  1. Check which components and responsibilities are explicitly included.
  2. Compare displayed pricing with the scoped configuration.
  3. Raise integration, security, or deployment gaps before acceptance.

Frequently asked questions

Does the configurator deploy or modify a live chain?

No. It collects a customer configuration and supports a quote or review flow; it is not a production-chain control panel.

Are all blockchain products interchangeable?

No. Product categories cover different capabilities. Compare the published scope and identify external dependencies before selecting.

Where do I find technical planning detail?

Use the blockchain guides and product documentation linked from the catalogue. For institution-specific details, use a scoped technical review.

Is catalogue pricing a final offer?

Use the live pricing page for current displayed information. The formal quote and written agreement govern the actual scope and terms.
