Model Transformation documentation

Select an eligible model release, choose supported transformation and delivery options, preview the configuration, and request a quote when it is orderable.

Workflow
  1. Choose a releaseStart with a public base model that has eligible capabilities.
  2. Select operationsChoose supported quantization, distillation, or language work.
  3. Set delivery needsChoose download, hosted delivery, or both where offered.
  4. Preview the buildReview compatibility, hardware fit, and the price breakdown.
  5. Request a quoteSubmit eligible configurations for commercial review.

Select a supported base release

Begin with the transformation hub and current quantized or distilled model catalogues. Open a candidate release and check its published capabilities, supported operations, and package options. Availability is capability-specific: a transformation shown for one release should not be assumed for another. Keep your intended runtime and delivery requirements in view while comparing releases, since the builder filters choices based on the capability records available for the selected base model.

  1. Open a public release or a package from the catalogues.
  2. Check which operations and runtime options are listed for that release.
  3. Choose a base release that supports the outcome you need.

Configure operations and delivery

In the builder, select a base release, then choose the supported delivery mode and operations that match your use case. Available controls include quantization methods, distillation, and language transformation where the chosen capability permits them; the builder also presents runtime, context, concurrency, and hosting choices. Only select options that are enabled for the release. Treat language preservation, minimization, and strengthening choices as configuration goals that need evaluation against your own acceptance criteria.

  1. Choose the release and a displayed delivery mode.
  2. Select only enabled operations and compatible runtime options.
  3. Record evaluation criteria for quality, language, and serving needs.

Preview and assess fit

Submit the builder preview to inspect the configuration and any available price or hardware-fit breakdown. A preview can identify estimates and flag when measurement or additional validation is needed; it does not establish that a model meets your quality target. Review one-time and recurring items separately when displayed, and check whether a required capability or price component is missing. If the configuration is not orderable, use the stated reason to adjust the choices or seek clarification.

  1. Submit the preview and read all fit and validation notes.
  2. Compare displayed cost components with the requested delivery.
  3. Adjust incompatible choices before requesting commercial review.

Request a quote and validate delivery

The quote action is available only when the preview identifies an orderable configuration and requires sign-in. Review the quoted scope and confirm it covers the intended operations, runtime, hosting choices, and delivery mode. Before using a delivered artifact or hosted result, compare it with your own quality, compatibility, and safety checks. A successful configuration preview is not a measured performance guarantee, and catalogue eligibility alone does not replace acceptance testing for your application.

  1. Sign in and request a quote only for an orderable preview.
  2. Confirm the quote matches the selected operations and delivery.
  3. Validate the delivered result against your own documented tests.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply every operation to every model?

No. The available operations depend on the selected release capability. Use the catalogue and builder to see the eligible choices.

What delivery modes can I select?

The builder offers download, hosted delivery, or both where supported by the release and configuration.

Does the preview prove model quality or performance?

No. It reports configuration, estimates, and fit information. Evaluate the resulting model against your own task-specific criteria.

Why can’t I request a quote?

Quote submission requires sign-in and an orderable preview. A missing capability or active price component can make a configuration non-orderable.
